The books are arranged quite differently to normal libraries. They are arranged in order of magical ability. Meaning the books on Magic for beginners are at one end, and books on far more advanced magic at the other. It is also mentioned that China's Library is attuned to peoples feelings/emotions and that the stacks of books change accordingly. The Outside of the Library appears old, the apartment building in which it is situated it crumbling. On the inside, however, it is new and modern, full of many secrets and priceless books. If you are ever caught stealing a book you'll be lucky to get away with your life.

The thirteen story building towered down on the surrounding dark streets. The elevator was broken and the concrete stairway is dark and narrow. The doors on the apartments were paint flecked-steel, with locks and bolts on the outside. Heavy bars criss-crossed the windows. Unknown to onlookers, apartments 11 and 12 were filled with the infected trapped in a dark big hole, fighting for their lives to become a full vampire.

Deep below Gordon's house are deadly twisting and turning tunnels. Creatures of magic lurk in the darkness of these caves. They feed on the dark crystals that grow in the caves, protected by a ghost man and his giant house. If you dare venture down there do so at your own risk. The beasts that hunt and call the caves their home are drawn to magic, they feed on it and in the dark, these cave monsters are the scariest and most fearsome creatures in the world, not even your nightmares could compare to them. They will eat you, they will kill you. Sometimes you don't even know they are there. But you will when they get you and your screams echo in the caves and there is no one there to hear them.

Oak double doors open into a huge room, with beautiful diamond chanderliers hanging from roof. Many antique paintings hang aroung the house, giving it colour and life. The wooden floors are clean and polished. Elegant stairways Climb up to the second floor and that's where Gordon's Study room lies. Book cases are packed into one room, with many ancient books and objects. But people do not know that the bookcases open up into a secret room, where the echo stone lays in its cradle.

The Pub is on old place, and just as it is old the place looks like a mess. There is scarce business here and when there is the place is left in worse condition then before. There are shattered windows, grime covered tables and rats that can be heard to scuttle along the ground. The place is just a giant mess, the bar keeper, the owner of the place does nothing to make it look any better. This Pub is known for the rough folks that come here, its reputation precedes itself, people have died here and some say their ghosts linger, tortured and desperate. Everyone is welcome, you just need to find the courage to come in.

The old dusty building was completely still only the whistling of the wind made any noise. Inside was a small cinema, the tattered red chairs were in neat rows but was littered with old candy wrappers. But what many people did not know was behind the screen was an infirmary. It was clean and an old grumpy professor looked after all the patients that came there.

A lonely house sat in the middle of a paddock. Weeds and grass growing wildly around the it. Moss climbed up the brick wall of the house and the cement driveway was cracked from years of the sun beating down upon it. The wire fences were rusted and the gate creaked on unoiled hinges. Every time some one passed the house they would drive quicker scared of what they saw. Only the brave dared to venture into the Aranmore Farm.
